Captain George Sullivan’s vision and determination made the Pearl Harbor National Memorial a reality. Through his leadership and tireless fundraising, the Memorial since 2010 has welcomed over 25 million visitors from around the world. His efforts ensured that the story of December 7, 1941, and the sacrifices of those who served and died, would never be forgotten. Today, we honor him for preserving this place of remembrance and education for generations to come.
